My Top 5 Favourite Fujifilm Cameras (Ranked from 5 to 1)
I’ve been lucky enough to shoot with a number of Fujifilm cameras over the years, each one with its own character, quirks, and memories attached. As someone who lives and breathes photography — especially travel and street — I thought it was about time I shared my personal top five Fujifilm cameras. This is all based on real-world use, not specs on a chart. We’re going from number 5 (least favourite of the list, but still brilliant) to number 1 — my all-time favourite.
5. Fujifilm X100F
The X100F was my first real taste of what Fujifilm had to offer — and at the time, it was hands-down the best-looking camera I’d ever owned. Sleek, compact, and full of charm, it introduced me to Fujifilm’s film simulations and signature tactile controls.
The only issue? I bought it during lockdown. And with it being a street/travel-focused point-and-shoot, I was stuck in the middle of rural countryside with nowhere to go and nothing interesting to photograph. The fixed 23mm focal length felt limiting, especially without any real street life to capture. That frustration pushed me to explore something more versatile...

4. Fujifilm X-T3
Enter the X-T3. This camera instantly clicked with me — and more importantly, it was the first time I got my hands on what would become two of my favourite lenses: the 18-55mm f/2.8-4 kit lens and the 35mm f/2.
With the flexibility of a zoom and the crisp punch of a prime, this setup became my go-to when lockdown finally lifted. I remember taking it to Newquay — the camera felt like an extension of my eye. Compact, fast, reliable. Honestly, just a brilliant workhorse that made photography exciting again.

3. Fujifilm X-Pro3
After the limitations of the X100F and the DSLR-style X-T3, I wanted something with a little more soul — something that looked and felt more like the film cameras I had always admired. That’s when I picked up the X-Pro3.
It didn’t disappoint. With interchangeable lenses, that beautiful hybrid rangefinder design, hidden screen, and weather sealing, this thing oozed personality. I travelled with the X-Pro3 everywhere — Ireland, the US, and a big six-month trip through Asia last year. It handled it all, and made me feel like a photographer every time I picked it up. I’m seriously looking forward to what Fujifilm does with the (hopefully incoming) X-Pro4.
2. Fujifilm X-H2S
This was the game-changer. I traded in most of my gear, including the X-T3, and went all-in on the X-H2S. It was the first time I truly felt like I had a hybrid camera — one that could handle both high-end photo and video work without compromise.
It was also the catalyst that inspired me to start my YouTube channel. IBIS, 6.2K recording, deep grip, and that insane 7-dial custom setup — it’s a powerhouse. It’s still the main tool I use for all my professional work. That said, I’ve had a few issues recently with autofocus reliability. Nothing major, but just enough to stop it from taking the number one spot.
1. Fujifilm X100VI
And here it is — my number one. The X100VI.
I bought this almost as a way to make peace with the frustration I had with the X100F. But this time? It’s a different story. The X100VI has become my everyday companion. It lives with me. I take it everywhere — from cafés to client shoots to lazy afternoon walks.
It just inspires me.
It’s the only camera I’ve ever owned that makes me want to shoot for the joy of it. I shoot SOOC with a Fuji recipe or two. I film little social videos with it. I use it for stillness and simplicity. It’s lightweight, it’s gorgeous, and the image quality is next level.
You need a camera that sings with you. For me, that’s the X100VI.
Final Thoughts
Fujifilm cameras have shaped not just my photography but my journey as a creative. From lockdown frustrations to YouTube beginnings, from street corners to distant countries — each of these cameras has played a role in telling my story.
But the one that rises above them all? It’s not the most expensive or the most powerful. It’s the one that makes me feel. The X100VI reminds me why I picked up a camera in the first place.
What about you? Which Fujifilm cameras have you owned, and which one sings to you?
